Job description

We’re Hiring: Business Development Manager – Commercial Furniture

WBI, an AZOR Brand — Furniture Division of A-Z Office Resource, Inc. — is growing!

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Business Development Manager to drive commercial furniture sales and expand our presence throughout the Middle Tennessee market.

This is more than a sales position. We’re looking for someone who wants to make an impact, have a voice, and help shape the direction of a growing business.

The Opportunity

You’ll have the autonomy to develop business, build relationships, and pursue opportunities while working closely with leadership and our furniture team. We value people who can navigate internal decision-making, get things done, and effectively advocate for their customers and ideas.

Because we’re a growing organization, the right person won’t simply be executing someone else’s plan. You’ll have the opportunity to influence company decisions, contribute ideas, and help shape how we grow our furniture business in Middle Tennessee.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop new commercial furniture business throughout Middle Tennessee
  • Build relationships with business owners, facility managers, designers, architects, and other key decision-makers
  • Identify opportunities and grow existing customer relationships
  • Lead customers through the commercial furniture sales process—from initial concept and space planning through product selection, installation, and completion
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to move opportunities forward
  • Bring customer and market insights back to leadership to help influence products, services, processes, and strategy
  • Represent WBI and our portfolio of commercial furniture solutions

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven sales or business development experience, preferably in commercial furniture, office interiors, contract furnishings, or a related industry
  • A strong track record of developing relationships and winning new business
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach to sales
  • Someone who wants more than a job—someone who wants a seat at the table

Why WBI?

WBI is backed by the resources and experience of A-Z Office Resource, Inc., while providing the specialized expertise of a dedicated commercial furniture division.

This is an exceptional opportunity for the right sales professional, with a strong compensation package, meaningful earning potential, and the opportunity to play an important role in the growth and direction of our business.

If you're an accomplished sales professional who knows how to open doors, build relationships, navigate an organization, close business—and wants your voice to matter, we’d love to hear from you.

Territory: Middle Tennessee
Position: Business Development Manager – Commercial Furniture
Compensation: Strong compensation package with significant earning potential
