Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and autonomous Project Manager who can independently handle projects from pricing to execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in mechanical and plumbing scopes, including fab shop operations. Experience with HVAC, plumbing, and process systems is highly valued, and a willingness to learn additional skills is encouraged. The role requires strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities to effectively manage and build projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage projects from initial pricing to final execution.
• Estimate, price, and assemble estimates for complex systems like chilled water loops.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical and plumbing scopes, including fab shop operations.
• Engage with HVAC, plumbing, and process systems, with a willingness to learn any additional required skills.
• Contribute to strategic discussions and assist in project sales.
• Quickly adapt to and learn company-specific software and processes.

Essential Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in project management, especially in town projects.
• Strong technical expertise in construction management, HVAC, plumbing, and ability to estimate complex systems.
• Problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering degree is preferred, but diverse academic backgrounds are accepted.
• Experience in large data center projects, understanding their speed and financial aspects.
• Demonstrated work ethic through participation in team sports, Greek system, or work experience during college.
• Commitment to long-term employment and willingness to make Reno home.

This is a Permanent position based out of Reno, NV.

The pay range for this position is $170000.00 - $200000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

Base Salary: Around $180,000.Bonus Potential: An additional $30,000 to $50,000, depending on capabilities.Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): Conservatively estimated at 10% to 12% of income, but often double that or more, providing significant retirement money.Car Allowance: Approximately $500 per month (tax-free reimbursement) and a fuel card.Sign-on Bonus: A relocation bonus or sign-on bonus is also possible, with amounts varying based on the candidate's strength, potentially up to $20,000 for exceptional candidates.

This is a fully onsite position in Reno,NV.

This position is anticipated to close on Aug 31, 2026.
