Job description

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $12.50hr - $17.50hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
  • Willingness to perform seasonal tasks in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Ability to work under close supervision and follow general instructions on routine tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of routine tasks associated with a multi-crop research station.
  • Organize samples during corn/soy harvest and wheat planting.
  • Execute field research operations related to planting, thinning, weeding, pollinations, and sample harvest.
  • Manage sample processing operations including preparation of supplies, sorting, scanning, weighing, and preparation for shipping and seed packaging.
  • Assist with general facility operations including general clean-up and organization of samples and supplies.
  • Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervising Field Technician.
