At ALO, packaging is more than a container-it is an extension of our brand experience and a reflection of our commitment to mindful movement and luxury wellness. As the Senior Packaging Production Designer, you will play a critical role in translating creative vision into thoughtful, production-ready solutions that bring our brand to life. Combining design sensibility with technical expertise, you will ensure every packaging touchpoint reflects the quality, intention, and elevated aesthetic that define ALO.

  • Apply ALO's brand standards, visual systems, and packaging architecture across a wide range of packaging formats, thoughtfully adapting solutions to meet unique product and production requirements.
  • Own the accuracy and integrity of packaging content, maintaining a deep understanding of product information, labeling requirements, and regulatory standards.
  • Review and manage artwork files throughout the production lifecycle, overseeing version control, file integrity, and final quality assurance prior to release.
  • Partner with the Creative team to build and evolve ALO's packaging libraries, component systems, specifications, and production templates, creating a scalable foundation for excellence across all packaging programs.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and cross-functional partners to refine workflows, improve operational efficiency, and continuously elevate the quality of packaging execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong design sensibility and systems-thinking mindset, with the ability to balance creative intent, brand standards, production requirements, and business needs.
  • A thoughtful and resourceful problem solver who can navigate constraints creatively, adapting solutions while preserving the integrity of the design and overall brand experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in packaging production, production design, or packaging artwork, with strong expertise in print production, mechanicals, dielines, and production-ready file preparation.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign. Familiarity with Figma and collaborative design workflows is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve artwork, copy, layout, and production inconsistencies.
  • Experience reviewing and managing packaging copy, product information, labeling requirements, and artwork accuracy with a high degree of precision.
  • Experience managing complex artwork files, technical specifications, and version control processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to clearly articulate production requirements and provide constructive feedback throughout the artwork development process.
  • Knowledge of packaging materials, print finishes, color standards, and production specifications is highly preferred.
