Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Location: Birmingham AL 35203
Payrate: $38/hr.
Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing financial support to the Customer Solutions team. The position requires the ability to plan, prioritize, and coordinate processes. These activities include but are not limited to the following: cost analysis, developing business processes, reviewing and analyzing net income statements, producing monthly/ad-hoc reports for management decision making, and coordinating and reporting activities for accounting, auditing, and compliance for new and existing projections. Specifically, this position will include building and supporting financial models, researching accounting issues, reporting on spending trends, and reconciling accounts and activity. Other duties may include performing risk assessments and executing and testing internal controls.

Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in Experience in financial planning, financial modeling and analysis, and budgeting.
  • Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst. Proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting, corporate finance, and information analysis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written interactions.

  • Gather and consolidate financial data, including budgets, income statement forecasts, and other relevant information.
  • Analyze data using management identified metrics to drive financial accountability.
