Position Summary:
The Remarketing Vendor Strategy & Oversight Manager is responsible for developing and executing vendor management strategies that optimize performance, compliance, and cost efficiency across the remarketing ecosystem. This role ensures that third-party vendors deliver consistent, high-quality services aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer experience standards. The manager will serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and external vendors, driving accountability and continuous improvement.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor strategy for remarketing operations, including research, selection, onboarding, performance management, and risk mitigation.
โ€ข Provide support for contract negotiations and renewals to ensure favorable terms.
โ€ข Establish governance frameworks, KPIs, and SLAs to ensure vendor compliance and operational excellence.
โ€ข Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and SLAs; identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
โ€ข Lead vendor audits and implement corrective actions when necessary.
โ€ข Manage vendor risk assessments and contingency planning.
โ€ข Ensure vendors comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices.
โ€ข Drive continuous improvement initiatives across vendor operations.
โ€ข Partner with internal teams (Operations, Procurement, Legal, etc.) to align vendor strategies with overall business goals.
โ€ข Provide insights and recommendations to leadership based on vendor performance data and market trends.


Qualifications and Competencies Required
Required Experience:
โ€ข Minimum of 5 years in vendor management, procurement, or remarketing operations.
โ€ข Minimum 3 years of leadership or managerial experience, including team oversight and performance management.
โ€ข Proven experience in developing vendor strategies and managing large-scale vendor relationships.

Education:
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field

Skills Required:
โ€ข Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
โ€ข Proficiency in vendor management systems and data analytics tools.
โ€ข Proficiency in Excel
โ€ข Overtime required โ€“ as needed.
โ€ข Travel 0โ€“10% โ€“ as required.
โ€ข Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI.


Qualifications Preferred:
โ€ข Experience in automotive remarketing or asset management.
โ€ข Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
โ€ข Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
โ€ข Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
โ€ข Familiarity with compliance and audit processes.

Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed. Travel is required 10% of the time.
