What is an overnight silverware roller?

Overnight Silverware Rollers are employees, often in restaurants or catering establishments, responsible for cleaning, sorting, and rolling silverware (such as forks, knives, and spoons) into napkins, typically during late-night or overnight shifts. Their work ensures that the restaurant is prepared for the next day's service, maintaining hygiene standards and efficiency. This role is important for supporting smooth restaurant operations and is usually performed after closing hours when the kitchen and dining areas are being cleaned.

What are the typical responsibilities and expectations for an overnight silverware roller?

Your work directly supports the front-of-house team by ensuring they have ample, ready-to-use silverware for guests, which helps maintain smooth operations during busy service periods.
