Whether it's 500 feet or 500 miles, we get the job done safely, properly, and on time.Position SummaryAs the Corporate Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for candidates while partnering with hiring managers and operational leaders to recruit top talent across our operating companies. You'll play a key role in identifying, attracting, and hiring the skilled professionals who keep our operations running safely and successfully.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.Collaborate with department managers to create and maintain accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for a variety of positions across multiple operating companies.Create and manage job postings across recruiting platforms.Source, screen, and interview qualified candidates.Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and guide candidates through the hiring process.Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.Attend job fairs, trade schools, recruiting events, and industry networking opportunities.Travel to operating company locations to support recruiting initiatives and hiring events.Maintain accurate candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and company policies.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications3+ years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience within the pavement marking, traffic control, roadway safety, or heavy civil construction industry.Experience recruiting pavement marking operators, traffic control personnel, CDL drivers, mechanics, estimators, foremen, project managers, and other roadway safety professionals is strongly preferred.Working knowledge of pavement marking materials and roadway safety operations-including thermoplastic, epoxy, polyurea, tape products, permanent pavement markings, and temporary traffic control-is strongly preferred.Experience using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).Knowledge of employment laws, recruiting best practices, and hiring compliance.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-building skills.Ability to develop creative sourcing strategies and manage multiple openings simultaneously.Self-motivated with excellent time management and attention to detail.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Ability and willingness to travel overnight as needed.Why Join Road Safety Services?Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time OffProfessional Development & Career GrowthOpportunity to support recruiting efforts across 23+ states and more than 50 locationsWork alongside leaders who are committed to safety, integrity, teamwork, and excellenceBe part of a growing organization that is shaping the future of roadway safetyIf you're passionate about connecting great people with rewarding careers and understand the unique talent needed to support the roadway safety industry, we'd love to hear from you.
