Mandatory to have Previous Roadway Markings Experience***


Key Responsibilities:

Primarily oversee daily operations of our roadway markings crews with New York City DOT but also manage daily operations with the crews for various contractors, and other parking lot marking crews, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Plan and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement while managing materials, inventory, and equipment maintenance.

Ensure compliance with all safety standards, MUTCD regulations, and DOT requirements.

Work closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional service.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team collaboration and innovation.

Manage budgets and resources to optimize operational performance, by monitoring job costs, production rates, and profitability.

Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Lead training initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Train and supervise field staff and promote a culture of safety and accountability.

Requirements

Preferred qualifications:

5+ years of experience in pavement markings, traffic control, or highway construction management.

Knowledge of Roadway Markings Material Specifications.

Knowledge of MUTCD standards and state DOT specifications.

Ability to read blueprints and project plans.

Proficiency in project scheduling and field documentation.

Proven experience in operations management or a related field

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline

Experience with project management methodologies

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software

Familiarity with budgeting and financial management principles
