How much do entry level line striping jobs pay per hour?

As of Jul 21, 2026, the average hourly pay for entry level line striping in the United States is $19.74, according to ZipRecruiter salary data. Most workers in this role earn between $14.66 and $18.27 per hour, depending on experience, location, and employer.

How to become a line striper?

To become a line striper, you typically need a high school diploma or equivalent and some experience with painting or operating equipment. Training is often provided on the job, and familiarity with traffic safety and line striping tools is beneficial. Physical stamina and attention to detail are important for this role.

How much can you make line striping?

Entry level line striping jobs typically pay between $12 and $20 per hour, depending on location, experience, and whether the work is seasonal or year-round. Experienced stripers or those with specialized skills can earn higher wages, especially if working for commercial or municipal contracts. Many positions also offer overtime or bonuses based on productivity and job complexity.

What jobs pay 4000 a week without a degree?

Entry level line striping jobs typically do not pay $4,000 a week; such high earnings are more common in specialized trades like commercial roofing, construction management, or skilled trades that require experience or certifications. Most high-paying roles without a degree involve skilled labor, sales, or entrepreneurial work, often with variable income based on performance or project size.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

Entry level line striping jobs typically require on-site work and do not offer remote opportunities that would generate $2000 weekly. To reach that income level from home, individuals often pursue high-paying freelance work, specialized skills, or business ventures outside of line striping. Focusing on developing in-demand skills or starting a remote business can help achieve higher earnings.
