Description:
This is a fast-paced pre/post interventional radiology department in a level 1 trauma center.
We cater to inpatient and outpatient populations across the lifespan.
Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team and are responsible for pre-procedural preparation of patients and post-procedural recovery and overnight observation care.
Experience with GI post-procedural care is preferred but not required.
This is an exciting opportunity for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging.
We specialize in providing care for patients undergoing CT scans, MRIs, nuclear medicine scans, X-rays, and ultrasound.
RN is responsible for pre/post and 23-hour care for IR patients.
Care for patients boarding overnight pre or post-procedure is also required.
BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
