Job description

POS Service Technician – Santa Rosa, FL
Expert Technical Solutions has an outstanding opportunity for a POS Onboarding Specialist with a fast-growing company in Santa Rosa, FL.
This is a Permanent opportunity offering competitive salary, excellent benefits, and growth opportunities!
Your role will be to provide reliable on-site service to keep POS and Payment systems running smoothly with minimal customer disruption.
There will be regular travel within a 90-mile radius of office location; occasional overnight or
weekend travel required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Respond to and resolve service tickets related to POS hardware and software failures
  2. Perform on-site diagnostics, repairs and component replacements when necessary
  3. Communicate clearly and professionally with customers throughout the service process.
  4. Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance and system upgrades
  5. Perform system health checks and resolve configuration issues.
  6. Work with the Support Team to identify recurring issues.
  7. Track service requests using ConnectWise Manage
  8. Ensure all work is logged with detailed notes, resolutions, products, and time.
  9. Escalate major issues effectively while keeping customers informed.
  10. Contribute to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and service playbooks.
  11. Provide insight to help reduce repeat service calls and improve service efficiency.
  12. Collaborate with Installation and Support teams to ensure long-term client satisfaction
  13. Maintain installation tools and company equipment in working order
  14. Track and restock service hardware and supplies as needed
  15. Ensure company vehicles are clean, organized, and maintained weekly
Skills:
  1. Field service, Low-voltage, maintenance and repair, and troubleshooting skills
  2. Strong communication and customer service abilities
  3. POS and payment system experience preferred
  4. Proficiency with remote supports tools (e.g., ConnectWise)
  5. Restaurant or hospitality experience
