What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Overnight HubSpot Specialist, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Overnight HubSpot Specialist, you need a solid understanding of digital marketing concepts, CRM management, and customer support, typically supported by experience with HubSpot’s platform. Proficiency in using HubSpot tools for marketing automation, email campaigns, reporting, and possibly holding HubSpot certifications is highly valued. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and the ability to work independently during non-standard hours are essential soft skills. These skills ensure seamless campaign execution, efficient customer support, and uninterrupted business operations during overnight shifts.

What is an Overnight Hubspot position?

An Overnight Hubspot position typically involves managing and monitoring HubSpot CRM activities during nighttime hours. This role may include tasks such as responding to customer inquiries, overseeing automated marketing campaigns, and ensuring the smooth operation of the platform outside of standard business hours. The Company
Harvest Hosts is a high-growth RV travel technology company and the largest private RV camping network in North America. We manage a portfolio of well-established brands across North America and Europe, offering a comprehensive suite of products designed to streamline and elevate the RV travel experience.
Our portfolio includes:
  • Harvest Hosts - offering unique overnight stays at ~6,000 wineries, breweries, distilleries, golf courses, museums, and other small businesses across North America
  • Boondockers Welcome - a community-driven platform connecting RVers with over 3,000 private property hosts
  • Escapees RV Club - one of the largest and most established RV clubs, offering resources, education, events and community for all RVers
  • Brit Stops - a UK and Ireland-based membership connecting motorhomers with ~1,500 small businesses that allow overnight stopovers
  • CampScanner - an alert service that notifies users of open campsites at sold-out State and National Parks

The company's mission is to advance the technology and accessibility of the RVing and campground industry, making traveling while supporting national parks, local small businesses, and communities easier than ever.
The Position
As an integral member of our Host Relations team, you will work on the supply side of the business, helping small businesses, farms, and non-profits on Harvest Hosts. This full time, remote role will be focused on supporting the recruitment of new Host locations, as well as driving the success of our existing Host network. Note: This role will focus on our B2B, or supply, side of the business, not the member facing side.
You will play a pivotal role in this process by driving the efficiency and success of our HubSpot CRM system. Your contributions will be instrumental in optimizing our Host marketing, recruiting, and lifecycle efforts, ensuring that our Hubspot instance remains a cornerstone of our Host Relations operations.
You will be tasked with overseeing various aspects of database management, including maintaining data accuracy, supporting segmentation creation for marketing and recruiting efforts, automating workflows and establishing processes, and developing reporting. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to deliver targeted and personalized communication to our audience of amazing small businesses, which will support the ongoing growth of Harvest Hosts.
Additionally, you will be a team player that collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement structural enhancements to our HubSpot instance, aligning with evolving business needs while maintaining compliance with data security standards.
Skills & Experience
HubSpot Expertise: You possess a strong understanding of HubSpot's capabilities and limitations. Comfortable with creating and maintaining custom objects, you implement new features with ease and launch strategic plans cross-departmentally.
Excellent Communicator: Your strong communication skills enable you to understand and explain our data structures and limitations effortlessly. Whether it's Slack, email, phone, Zoom, or Asana, you are adept at all types of communication.
Focus and Discipline: Self-motivated and disciplined, you maintain a steady, calm pace to work through a variety of tasks. You take complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces to drive meaningful improvements and change.
Technologically Savvy: Navigating multiple websites, tools, and applications simultaneously is second nature to you. You feel right at home behind the keyboard, utilizing technology and AI to its fullest potential.
Problem Solver: You thrive on handling unique problems, never shying away from challenges. When presented with a new situation, you gather notes, distill the core problem, propose solutions, and move forward without missing a beat.
Key Responsibilities
  1. HubSpot Database Management:
    • Take ownership of the HubSpot CRM database, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and organization.
    • Implement advanced data segmentation strategies to facilitate highly targeted and personalized marketing and sales communication.
    • Lead initiatives in data hygiene, deduplication, and management of lead sources to maintain database integrity.
  2. Database Structural Changes:
    • Act as the primary decision-maker and authority on all structural changes to the HubSpot instance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, plan, and execute database enhancements aligned with evolving business needs.
    • Ensure all structural changes adhere to data security and compliance standards.
  3. Data Integration and Automation:
    • Establish and maintain seamless data integrations between HubSpot and other systems or platforms.
    • Develop and optimize marketing automation workflows to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
    • Monitor data integrations and automation processes, promptly resolving any issues that arise.
    • Utilize AI tools like Claude to assist in building, testing, and refining automation workflows and data processes.
  4. Reporting and Analytics:
    • Create, maintain, and enhance regular reports and dashboards providing critical insights into database health and the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
    • Analyze data to generate actionable recommendations for optimizing recruiting and marketing initiatives, contributing to business growth.
  5. Training and Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with teams to understand their data requirements and provide effective support in utilizing the database.
    • Be a thought partner on projects involving Host Marketing (i.e., B2B marketing), Host Recruiting (i.e., Account Executives), and Host Success (i.e., customer success) teams.
    • Lead training sessions for team members on HubSpot CRM usage and best practices in data management.
Compensation & Benefits
Harvest Hosts is a private equity-backed company. This position is a full-time and fully remote role. Compensation will be based on experience with a base salary of $75-85k, plus the ability to participate in the general bonus pool and employee equity plan. Benefits include fully remote work, unlimited PTO, health/dental/vision insurance, eligibility to participate in our 401(k) program, and a supportive team environment with A+ team members.
Timing: We are looking to fill this position as soon as we find the right candidate!
Remote work applicants may not work from the following states: CA, HI or AK

It is Harvest Hosts policy to provide equal opportunity for employment to all qualified employees and applicants, regardless of race, religion, religious affiliation, ancestry, citizenship status, marital status, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, color, creed, national origin, sex, age, disability, or veteran status or any other characteristic protected by local, state or federal law.
