The center provides a comprehensive range of urgent behavioral health services, including crisis intervention, therapy, medication management, and suicide prevention services. Unlike traditional emergency departments, the facility is designed to offer a calm, therapeutic environment that promotes stabilization, recovery, and compassionate care.
About the role
Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board is hiring an overnight LPN to work at the BJ Roberts Behavioral Health Center in Hampton, VA. This position supports safe, accurate medication services for adults receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment, partnering closely with the clinic psychiatrist and care team.

You'll coordinate with the on-call provider as needed, answer routine medication questions, and keep documentation current so the team has clear, audit-ready records by morning. Between scheduled tasks, you'll check in with clients to support comfort and stability, complete brief reassessments, and update charts after any status changes.
