Are you skilled in maintenance, safety, and problem-solving? We're looking for an Overnight Maintenance Engineer to join our team and support the hotel's engineering operations during the overnight shift. As a key member of the engineering department, you'll help maintain building systems, ensure guest safety, and provide timely responses to maintenance needs while the hotel is quiet and overnight operations are underway.


Perform routine and emergency maintenance on guest rooms, public areas, and building equipment during the overnight shift.

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Complete detailed preventative maintenance tasks on guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment according to established schedules and brand standards.

Conduct regular safety checks, equipment inspections, and system tests to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety protocols.

Respond promptly to guest and team member maintenance requests, ensuring issues are resolved professionally and efficiently.

Monitor and maintain building security by reporting safety hazards, checking fire systems, and ensuring proper operation of emergency equipment.

Support Engineering leadership with documentation, logs, and overnight reports to communicate completed tasks, preventative maintenance progress, and any identified issues.

Maintain clean, organized, and safe engineering workspaces, mechanical rooms, and storage areas.

Coordinate with Front Desk, Security, and Housekeeping to ensure smooth overnight operations and timely response to safety or maintenance needs.

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and guest services

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to handle difficult situations and maintain professionalism

High school education preferred; relevant training and experience required

Knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, and legal regulations

Ability to obtain required licenses and certificates
