Set alongside the Yellowstone River and in close proximity to the North gate of Yellowstone National Park, Auster at Dome Mountain will showcase the rugged natural beauty and authentic western hospitality of southwest Montana. The newest addition to AMB West, Auster will include 20 cabins designed for year-round stays, ranging from one- to three-bedroom layouts. The main lodge anchors the site and will serve as the hub for connection, dining, and relaxation, complemented by a casual restaurant and bar featuring a rooftop deck, a retail market, a pool, a drive-thru coffee stand, and inviting outdoor gathering spaces.

Additionally, guests will have access to Rising Sun Golf Course, an 18-hole Johnny Miller-designed championship-level course located at Mountain Sky Guest Ranch.

Just a 20-minute drive from Yellowstone National Park, Auster's riverfront location sits on over 6,000 acres, offering a blend of unspoiled terrain and thoughtfully designed experiences, ensuring visitors can enjoy the outdoors while preserving its natural beauty. Guests will have access to a variety of activities across the property, including guided hiking, horseback riding, and wildlife as well as whitewater rafting and guided fishing trips through local business partnerships. There are plenty of opportunities for adventure in the heart of Yellowstone Country. The Gallatin National Forest, Yellowstone National Park, the Absaroka-Beartooth Mountains, the Crazy Mountains, the Bridger Mountains, and the Gallatin Canyon area all provide excellent opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, rock climbing, and camping. Big Creek and the mighty Yellowstone River offer fishing, rafting, and kayaking opportunities. Livingston is a 45-minute drive and offers a quaint downtown with great restaurants and a vibrant artistic community. Bozeman is an hour drive and is home to Montana State University and the Museum of the Rockies, as well as a great variety of coffee shops, stores, restaurants, and bars. Local haunts like the Pine Creek Lodge, The Old Saloon in Emigrant, and Chico Hot Springs are always staff favorites, and feature live music and great food without the long drive.

Job Description
As part of the facilities team, you'll be the go-to person for everything that keeps the resort running smoothly-from the comfort of the cabins to the function of our restaurant's back-of-house systems. You'll manage regular pool and hot tub testing, basic repairs, cleanliness, lawn care, snow removal and preventative maintenance. This team will support resort operations and help preserve the rustic beauty of our property.Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, preventative repairs, and groundskeeping throughout the property.
• Monitor and maintain pools and hot tubs, including water testing and equipment inspections.
• Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal property upkeep.
• Lead guided hikes, recreational activities, wildlife viewing, and fly-fishing experiences.
• Educate guests about the Yellowstone region, local wildlife, and natural history.
• Prepare and maintain activity and maintenance equipment.
• Prioritize guest safety while delivering exceptional service.
• Collaborate with all departments to support daily resort operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, landscaping, outdoor recreation, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
• Basic carpentry, mechanical, or equipment operation skills.
• First Aid/CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain); WFA/WFR preferred.
• CPO certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
