Over the Road Driver

Job Description

Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Critical Illness, 401 (k), Training Pay, Holiday, Vacation & Sick. Applies to Full Time only

Compensation: Over the Road Mileage Pay $0.47 – $.56 per mile

Supplemental pay types:

  • Breakdown pay
  • Detention pay
  • Extra stop pay
  • Loading / unloading pay
  • Safety bonus
  • Sign-on bonus $3,000

Responsibilities:

  • OTR drivers are home every 2-3 days
  • Deliver all products to customer locations
  • Follow safety rules and regulations
  • Leave on time and make deliveries in a timely manner
  • Follow check in and out procedures
  • Keep a clean driving record

Management retains the discretion to add or change the duties at any time.

Requirements:

Education, Experience and Skills Required

  • CDL - Class A License required.
  • Good Driving Record
  • Loading and unloading product
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • People Net/ELD & UKG experience a plus
  • 1 year Driving experience preferred
  • Follow Safety rules and regulations.

Physical Requirements, Working Conditions, and Travel Requirements:

  • Solo driver
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to push up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Sitting for long periods while driving, general bending and twisting associated with lifting.
  • Some overnight travel is required within territory.
