Full-Time Family Nanny – San Francisco, CA
Location: San Francisco, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
Position: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: ASAP; ideally
Compensation: $55-60 per hour, based on experience
Requirements: Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle
About the Family A warm and welcoming San Francisco family is seeking an experienced, professional nanny to join their household and provide reliable, long-term childcare support for their four children, ages 9–16.
This is an excellent opportunity for a long-term nanny who enjoys working with school-aged children and teenagers and is comfortable taking an active role in their daily routines, transportation, activities, and household needs.
The ideal candidate is warm, personable, patient, responsible, discreet, and highly organized, with the ability to become a trusted and dependable member of the family’s household.
The family also has a beloved Goldendoodle, so candidates should be comfortable and happy around dogs.
ResponsibilitiesChildcare & Daily Routine
  • Provide attentive, engaging, and age-appropriate care for four children ages 9–16.
  • Manage afternoon and evening routines after school.
  • Provide school pick-ups and drop-offs as needed.
  • Drive children safely to and from extracurricular activities, appointments, and other commitments.
  • Assist children with light homework and school-related responsibilities.
  • Encourage independence, responsibility, and positive routines.
Driving & Errands
  • Safely transport children using your own reliable vehicle.
  • Manage school and activity transportation efficiently and punctually.
  • Run family-related errands, including shopping and pickups.
  • Assist with grocery shopping and household errands as needed.
Meal Preparation
  • Prepare simple, healthy family meals and snacks.
  • Assist with light cooking and meal preparation.
  • Keep the kitchen tidy following meal preparation.
Light Household Support
  • Help maintain a tidy and organized household.
  • Load and unload the dishwasher and handle everyday dishes.
  • Assist with children's laundry.
  • Tidy children's common areas, bedrooms, and activity spaces.
  • Provide general household support related to the children's daily needs.
Overnight & Travel Support
  • Be available for occasional overnight care when the parents travel or take time away.
  • Maintain the children's normal routines and provide dependable care during overnight stays.

The family is looking to hire ASAP, with the goal of having a long-term nanny in place no later than September 14.
Occasional overnight care will be required when the parents travel or take personal time away.
