  • Check designated buildings, parking areas, common spaces, exterior grounds, and access points.
  • Maintain awareness of activity occurring throughout assigned areas.
  • Assist supervisors with maintaining consistent security practices across multiple locations.
  • Reinforce proper procedures when operational issues are identified.
  • Serve as a dependable point of support for officers working during overnight hours.

Security & Incident Response
  • Watch for suspicious activity, property damage, safety hazards, and unusual conditions.
  • Respond appropriately to disturbances, resident concerns, alarms, and other security-related situations.
  • Communicate significant incidents to supervisors or designated contacts.
  • Follow emergency procedures, post orders, and company requirements.
  • Encourage newly trained officers to use sound judgment and appropriate communication when handling concerns.
  • Maintain a calm and professional approach during stressful or unexpected situations.

Reporting & Field Communication
  • Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation.
  • Record patrol activity using approved company software and mobile applications.
  • Document officer training activities, observations, and areas requiring additional instruction.
  • Maintain consistent communication with supervisors throughout assigned shifts.
  • Provide factual feedback regarding officer performance and operational concerns.
  • Ensure required documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
  • Previous professional security experience.

  • Ability to work independently while remaining accountable for assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
  • Ability to work overnight hours and travel between assigned locations.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Field Training Officer, Lead Security Officer, or Security Supervisor.
  • Background in residential community or apartment security.
  • Bilingual communication skills.
  • Experience using electronic reporting platforms or workforce management systems.
  • Familiarity with mobile patrol operations.
