Job Description:
Job Summary
This position plans the weight and balance of outbound aircraft to ensure flights are safely loaded and legal to fly.
The ideal candidate for an Aircraft Load Planner will have six months to one year experience in a fast-paced office environment. The candidate will have an understanding of general office procedures. Additionally, the candidate will have the ability to communicate effectively, solve intermediate level problems, assist with basic research, and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant may be responsible for:
  • General office duties, i.e. answering telephone, data entry, filing, etc.
  • Preparation of reports using Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel
  • Preparing and/or coordinating information for internal use and distribution
  • Positions containers on outbound flights after they are weighed.
  • Documents and communicates with other operations to ensure safety of flight.
  • Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, pro-active communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement on all levels.

Qualifications:
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
  • Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
  • Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
  • Effective oral/written communication, problem solving, basic research, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Accurate and rapid data entry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to retrieve information from multiple computer systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
