What are outside travel agents?

Outside travel agents, also known as independent or home-based travel agents, are professionals who sell travel services such as airline tickets, hotel bookings, cruises, and vacation packages, often working remotely rather than from a traditional travel agency office. They usually partner with host agencies that provide access to booking systems, supplier relationships, and training. Outside travel agents earn commissions on the bookings they make and often have flexible schedules, making it a popular career for those who prefer to work independently.
