We serve individuals of all ages, combining innovative technology with a collaborative, patient-centered approach. Our dedicated clinicians provide flexible, high-quality care that meets patients where they are, supporting recovery, enhancing communication, and driving meaningful, long-term outcomes.

Job Description

The Community Partnerships Manager  is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, school administrators, Special Education coordinators, physicians, and other community referral sources to promote our  Therapy Services , drive referral growth, and expand our presence across the territory. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of school systems and healthcare referral pathways, and the ability to cultivate lasting partnerships that connect students and families with the services they need.

Responsibilities:

School & Community Partnerships:

  • Build and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with school principals, Special Education (SPED) coordinators, school counselors, teachers, and district administrators to drive referrals for  Therapy services.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the company and school partners, conducting regular school visits,  proactively meeting with school administrators and special education coordinators, and participating in school-sponsored events to strengthen presence and awareness.
  • Identify and engage new school accounts and community referral sources — including pediatric clinics, early intervention programs, and family resource centers — to expand the referral network across the territory.
  • Educate school staff and administrators on available services, eligibility criteria, and the referral process to facilitate smooth and timely connections for students and families.
  • Collaborate with school teams to understand each school’s unique student population needs and develop tailored outreach strategies that address those specific challenges.
  • Act as the main point of contact for school leadership, gather feedback, and work internally to resolve any administrative hurdles, ensuring  a seamless experience

Physician & Healthcare Referrals:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with physicians, pediatricians, ENTs, and other medical professionals who may refer patients for  Therapy services.
  • Conduct regular office visits and outreach to physician practices, medical groups, and health plans to maintain a consistent referral pipeline.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our services and effectively communicate clinical features, benefits, and patient outcomes to physicians, medical staff, patients, and families.
  • Understand the unique clinical and service needs of patients and families and provide appropriate recommendations and solutions to meet those needs.

Sales & Account Management:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective territory strategies that drive referral volume from both school and healthcare channels.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and service demonstrations to school administrators, physicians, and other decision-makers, highlighting the value and effectiveness of our technology and services.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for all referral partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction with every interaction.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of account activity, referral interactions, and market trends; provide regular reports to management on referral performance, market conditions, and competitor activity.
  • Work closely with the clinical, marketing, and customer service teams to relay field insights that drive service improvement and enhance the experience for referral partners, patients, and families.
  • Strategically prioritize outreach efforts and resources based on knowledge of Therapy services, school calendar cycles, territory dynamics, and the broader marketplace.
  • Stay current on developments in education policy, healthcare regulations, and industry trends to drive referrals and communicate effectively with school and medical partners.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  None

Qualifications

Education:

A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or Business) is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in account management, sales, or community outreach — particularly within a school, healthcare, or social services setting — is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience working with or within school systems, Special Education programs, or pediatric healthcare environments; familiarity with IEP processes and SPED referral pathways is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and nurture relationships with diverse stakeholders — including educators, administrators, physicians, and families — and translate those relationships into referral growth.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain clinical and therapeutic concepts clearly to both professional and non-professional audiences. Active listening skills are essential.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to school boards, clinical teams, and community groups.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently; capable of setting referral targets, managing a territory, and proactively identifying new business opportunities without close supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Proficient with CRM software, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales and communication tools.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions with school partners, healthcare professionals, patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Professional understanding of insurance, managed care, and school-based funding mechanisms (e.g., Medicaid in schools) is a plus.
  • Related experience may include roles such as: Business Development Manager (Healthcare/Education), Physician Liaison, Clinical Account Executive, Pediatric Sales Representative, ABA Services Consultant, Therapy Account Manager, Healthcare Growth Lead, Clinical Territory Manager, or Regional Therapy Sales Manager, Territory Sales.
