An Apprentice Electrician is becoming a skilled professional with both classroom learning and on-the-job training (OJT). You gain everything you need for career success. Your main Tasks:
- To work safely no matter what. Safety is our highest priority.
- Install, connect, and test electrical systems in large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Place conduit inside partitions, walls, and other concealed areas.
- Pull insulated wires or cables through conduit to complete circuits.
- Use testing equipment to check circuits for proper connection.
- Ensure electrical stability and safety of all components.
- Attend weekly Apprenticeship classes.
Experience or Certification needed:
- No prior construction experience required.
- A High School diploma or GED is required.
You need to be able to:
- Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.
- Be punctual and reliable.
- Work as a team.
- Do Basic "Tape measure math"
- Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors.
- Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs.
