For 44 years French Broad Adventures has been a leader in the outdoor industry in Western North Carolina and has trained thousands of adventure guides. French Broad Adventures is hiring RETAIL & RESERVATION STAFF for the upcoming 2024 season.
Whitewater rafting, zipline canopy tours, canyoneering, calm water trips-- we've got it all! We operate our adventures out of Asheville, Brevard, Marshall and Hot Springs, NC.
The mission of French Broad Adventures is to combine experienced guides, excellent customer service, and exceptional outdoor adventures to create incomparable memories for our valued guests. Our main season goes from mid-May through September. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidates.
RETAIL/RESERVATION STAFF:
Summary:We are a locally-owned, outdoor adventure company located in Marshall, NC. We take thousands of guests rafting, ziplining, and canyoneering throughout the year, and our retail/reservation staff interact with all of them! The store is truly the hub of our whole operation! Reservationists answer many phone calls throughout the day, scheduling trips for guests. Retail staff run the store at our outpost where we sell FBA apparel and other outdoor adventure necessities.
Duties include, answering phones, ringing up guests, making lunches for guests/guides, keeping the store clean, and answering questions with a positive attitude.
Retail staff must be comfortable working holidays, weekends, and long hours in a fast-paced environment.
