Overview:

The Senior Director of Inside Sales provides senior-level leadership, strategic direction, and operational
oversight for the organization’s Inside Sales teams. This includes outbound operations, account
management, new business growth, and other relevant sales functions. The role is responsible for driving
sustainable revenue growth while ensuring operational excellence and team development.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Business Growth

  • Establish and execute multi-year strategic plans to scale Inside Sales operations, incorporating market trends, technology advancements, and customer behavior insights.
  • Drive initiatives to expand sales channels and penetrate new customer segments while maintaining existing account growth.
  • Analyze market dynamics and competitor strategies to ensure the organization’s sales teams remain competitive and innovative.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop revenue forecasts, business plans, and growth initiatives.
  • Identify and allocate resources, including budget and personnel, to support team success across varying territories and account types.

Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Define and execute a strategic vision for the Inside Sales organization, aligning with company-wide goals.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing leadership team, fostering accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
  • Lead succession planning and leadership development initiatives to ensure long-term team success.
  • Act as a cultural leader, promoting values that support employee engagement and high-performance standards.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive growth in existing accounts and new customer acquisition.
  • Oversee Sales Managers and Supervisors, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance metrics, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.

Operational Excellence & Sales Enablement

  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Regularly assess organizational structures and workflows to optimize sales team performance and resource allocation.
  • Lead the development and execution of programs to enhance lead conversion, pipeline management, and overall customer experience.
  • Integrate data analytics into decision-making to improve forecasting, identify trends, and refine strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on go-to-market initiatives and customer satisfaction.

Training, Coaching and Quality Management

  • Oversee the creation of advanced training programs focused on leadership development, sales methodologies, and industry-specific knowledge.
  • Implement robust quality assurance frameworks to ensure consistent excellence in team interactions and customer outcomes.
  • Promote a culture of coaching and feedback to support continuous professional development.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership across marketing, product, and operations to align sales objectives with organizational priorities.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance lead generation, sales enablement, and customer retention strategies.
  • Represent the Inside Sales function in executive meetings, presenting updates and providing data-driven recommendations.

Financial & Resource Management

  • Develop and manage multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with revenue goals.
     
  • Evaluate and manage investments in technology, personnel, and processes to achieve maximum return on investment.
     
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, addressing variances and implementing corrective actions when necessary.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion innovation by introducing emerging sales techniques, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Lead initiatives to identify and capitalize on opportunities for operational improvement, driving efficiency and scalability.
  • Establish and nurture a feedback-driven environment that prioritizes learning, adaptability, and customer satisfaction.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior advisor to the executive leadership team, contributing to the organization’s overall strategy and direction.

Salary Range: $119,300.00 – $179,000.00 / year Pay Transparency Statement: At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic location, job related skills, experience, education, and certifications.
