Job description

The Network Engineer III supports the design, deployment, testing, and troubleshooting of the C2BMC network architecture. This includes multi-vendor routing/switching, firewalls, WAN optimization, optical transport, and secure communications across global sites. Key Responsibilities Design and support complex network infrastructures in operational and test environments.

Deploy and troubleshoot network solutions at CONUS and OCONUS locations. Perform network traffic analysis and diagnostics. Work with routing (BGP, OSPF), UDP multicast, SONET, VLANs, GRE tunnels, etc.

Document solutions and provide clear technical communication to stakeholders. Required Skills Knowledge of network design, development, and test methodologies. Strong understanding of: OSI model TCP/IP BGP and OSPF Experience with: Juniper, Cisco, TACLANEs, WAN optimizers, optical transport Firewalls: Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto Excellent writing and presentation skills (PowerPoint, Visio).

Ability to thrive in a collaborative, Agile environment. Education Bachelor’s in EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT or related field with 5+ years experience, or equivalent. Certification Requirements DoD 8570 IAT Level II (Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, etc.).
