 • Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon
 • Job Type: Locum Tenens
 • Location: Raleigh, NC
 • Service Setting: Outpatient
 • Coverage Type: Clinical Only
 • Coverage Period: ASAP – Ongoing
 • Clinical Shift Schedule: 3–4 days per month | 8a-5p (Flexible)
COVERAGE DATES
 • ASAP – Ongoing
PATIENT INFORMATION
 • Patient Demographics: Adults (primarily), minimal pediatrics
 • Patient Volume/Census: 25 – 30 patients per day
 • Case Mix: Spine conditions, musculoskeletal complaints, whiplash, general orthopedic evaluations
FACILITY INFORMATION
 • EMR System: PACS Imaging System
 • Office Equipment Available: C-arm access (no in-office fluoroscopy)
 • Specialty Backup Available: Sports Medicine Physician, Foot & Ankle Specialist
 • Support Staff Available: PAs, NPs, Physiatrist, Pain Anesthesiologist, RN
 • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

 • Other Qualifications: Must be comfortable with non-surgical spine care; no surgical responsibilities; no narcotic prescribing (Schedule II)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
 • Evaluate and manage patients with spine and musculoskeletal conditions
 • Perform non-surgical orthopedic procedures as appropriate
 • Develop treatment plans and prepare patients for potential surgical referral
