Job description

The Vice President, Residential Loan Originations Manager leads the Credit Union’s residential mortgage and home equity origination functions, driving loan growth, sales performance, and member experience while ensuring compliance with regulatory and risk management standards.

This role oversees Mortgage and Home Equity Officers, develops origination strategies, manages loan officer compensation programs, and partners across the organization to support competitive products, operational efficiency, and market growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop Mortgage and Home Equity Officers to achieve production and member experience goals
• Drive mortgage and home equity growth strategies and market expansion efforts
• Monitor pipeline activity, production performance, and sales metrics
• Oversee loan officer compensation programs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Partner with Operations, Secondary Market, and Marketing teams to support seamless origination processes
• Ensure compliance with TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, HMDA, Fair Lending, and related regulations
• Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing origination team
• Build relationships with realtors, brokers, builders, and community partners
• Identify process improvements and technology enhancements to improve efficiency

Qualifications
• 8+ years of mortgage lending experience, including leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of mortgage and home equity products, underwriting fundamentals, and secondary market guidelines
• Experience managing sales performance and loan officer compensation programs
• Strong understanding of mortgage regulatory and compliance requirements
• Proven leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills

If you're hired at Rockland Federal Credit Union, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. We also take pay equity seriously and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer. Please note that the range provided reflects the full base pay for this role. We also offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package designed to support your overall well-being and success.
