POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of this role is to enter all sales orders efficiently, accurately and in the agreed upon turnaround time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete Initial Verification of all orders (for all divisions) submitted in Play365/CE for accurate order information
  • Appropriately use system lookups to match orders to existing quotes
  • Communicate with Rep Channel as needed to revise or update orders
  • Connect order to our ERP system (Microsoft F&O) ensuring correct transfer of order information
  • Key parts and freestanding orders
  • Route orders to appropriate departments (Order Engineering, SkyWays, Aquatix, etc.) for further processing
  • Review order summary and all information relating to the orders through email, Play365, SharePoint etc.
  • Process Final Verification for all orders to ensure proper release to manufacturing
  • Verify freight quotes, shipping methods, apply freight charges to orders as applicable
  • Review orders for contracts, partnerships/alliances, and work with Finance as needed
  • Work with RSMs and Order Engineering to apply discounts and contract pricing as needed
  • Work with Planning and Shipping departments on ship date changes
  • Prepare/Review order acknowledgements and email to rep
  • Accommodate ship date requests or escalate shipping requirements as needed
  • 1st point of contact for change orders. Review, process if possible (update shipping addresses etc), and route to appropriate dept as needed.
  • Efficiently process back orders and ship date moves and communicate effectively to the rep organization
  • Assist in processing split shipments as needed
  • Supply help to other departments as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

ATTRIBUTES

  • Must interact well with the reps and their employees, and all internal areas especially accounting, customer experience, order engineering and custom areas
  • Must have a dependable work attendance and productivity record
  • Must have accurate and speedy typing and 10 key skills
  • Must possess good communication and responsiveness skills
  • Must have the ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, flexible environment

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or office area strongly preferred
  • Proficient in keyboard skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Play365, or AX Dynamics is a plus

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $22.20, depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs.

In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for a profit-sharing opportunity. Additionally, for eligible full-time employees, we offer a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits; paid time off and paid holidays; 401(k) retirement plan and employee stock ownership plan.
