The core responsibilities of this role include: -The position is a combination of equipment operator (30-90% depending on production peak times) but will also require the employee to perform material handling and loading/unloading duties.
Position: Returns Processor
Shift: 1st Shift Mon - Fri 6am to 2:30pm
Pay: $18.45
In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience:
-A minimum of 6 month's experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required. This position requires safe and efficient operation of a stand-up Dock Stocker and Reach Truck, and first preference will be given to applicants with this experience. Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.

Role Purpose:
Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment.
  • Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning.
  • Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system.
  • Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage).
  • Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage).
  • Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner.
  • Observe all safety and sanitation standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
  • Material handling equipment certification, preferred
  • Six months warehouse experience, preferred
  • Six months forklift operation experience, preferred
