Job Title: Receiving Forklift Operator
Job Location: Indianapolis, IN
Job Duration: 6+ months (possible extension)
Shift: Monday - Friday:
1 - 7am to 3:30 pm
3 - 8am to 4:30pm
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, processing, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role ensures materials are properly documented, stored, and distributed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, verify, and process incoming materials and shipments.
  • Enter receipts and inventory transactions into the materials management system.
  • Compare received goods against shipping documentation and report discrepancies.
  • Prepare outbound shipments and complete required shipping documentation.
  • Manage returned goods according to established procedures.
  • Deliver inventory to designated staging and department areas.
  • Store materials in assigned locations and maintain proper stock rotation based on receipt and expiration dates.
  • Identify and report materials with less than 30 days of remaining shelf life.
  • Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities.
  • Support order entry, picking, packing, and delivery of internal and external orders.
  • Assist with records storage and retrieval as needed.
  • Support internal, inbound, and outbound mail distribution.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.
  • Follow all applicable safety, compliance, and company policies.
