What is an Oracle reader?

Oracle Readers are individuals who use oracle cards, which are a type of divination tool, to provide guidance and insight to clients. Unlike tarot cards, oracle cards have more flexible themes and structures, allowing readers to interpret messages intuitively. Oracle readings can help clients gain clarity on personal issues, relationships, or life decisions. These readings are often used for self-reflection and spiritual growth rather than predicting specific future events.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Oracle reader, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Oracle Reader, you need a deep understanding of oracle card symbolism, intuitive interpretation abilities, and often experience or certification in spiritual or metaphysical studies. Familiarity with various oracle decks, digital reading platforms, and sometimes video call systems is typically required. Excellent communication, empathy, and active listening skills help build trust with clients and convey insights clearly. These competencies are vital for providing meaningful guidance, fostering client confidence, and ensuring ethical and professional readings.

What are some common challenges faced by Oracle readers when working with clients, and how can they be managed professionally?

Oracle Readers often encounter clients with high expectations or skepticism regarding the reading's accuracy and relevance. Managing these challenges requires strong communication skills, setting clear boundaries, and explaining the process and limitations of oracle readings upfront. It's important to foster a supportive, nonjudgmental environment and to avoid making definitive predictions or guarantees. Continuous professional development, such as participating in workshops or peer groups, can also help Oracle Readers refine their approach and handle challenging situations more effectively.

Job description

Location: Dallas, TX Description:
Oracle Fusion Functional Lead
Hybrid - Dallas, TX
Overview
We are seeking an Oracle Fusion Functional Lead to provide hands-on functional leadership across an Oracle Fusion Cloud environment, supporting business process maturity, application optimization, controls, governance, production support, and a growing portfolio of transformation initiatives. The role will serve as a primary functional partner across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Projects, Operations, Internal Controls/SOX, and Technology.
The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle Fusion functional expertise with strong end-to-end process knowledge and experience in asset-intensive, project-driven organizations. This person must be comfortable stabilizing a live cloud environment while simultaneously leading requirements, design, testing, process improvement, and delivery across multiple initiatives and system integrations.
Current Oracle Environment
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (26B), including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrations and Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) supporting integration/data requirements.
  • Primavera Unifier integrated with Oracle Fusion for project, procurement/commitment, budget/CBS, and actual-cost related processes.
  • Reporting and analytics using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, Oracle analytics/data capabilities, and Power BI.
  • A post-go-live environment that continues to mature through stabilization, controls, process standardization, enhancements, and new business capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the functional lead across Oracle Fusion Finance, Procurement, Projects/PPM, Fixed Assets, and related enterprise processes.
  • Own or coordinate functional requirements, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration decisions, process mapping, testing, deployment readiness, and post-production stabilization.
  • Support day-to-day production operations, triage functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive sustainable fixes rather than repeated manual workarounds.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Operations, Construction/Projects, Internal Controls, Cybersecurity, and Technology stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable Oracle solutions.
  • Lead workshops and design sessions, document business requirements and process flows, clarify business ownership, and drive decisions to closure.
  • Challenge proposed customizations and extensions when Oracle standard capabilities can meet the requirement; ensure exceptions have clear business justification and supportability.
  • Lead or support P2P, Supplier Portal, PPM/CBS/POET, Fixed Assets/CIP, finance optimization, inventory/SCM, EPM-readiness, tax-reporting, and related initiatives.
  • Work closely with technical resources on OIC integrations, ATP/data requirements, BIP/OTBI reporting, interfaces, conversions, and troubleshooting while retaining functional ownership of business outcomes.
  • Support Oracle-Unifier functional alignment, including project structures, budgets/CBS, commitments, actuals, and integration impacts.
  • Manage functional aspects of RBAC, segregation of duties, access governance, and privileged-access requirements in partnership with Security and Oracle IT.
  • Support SOX/ITcontrols, audit logging, audit evidence, control testing, remediation, and documentation.
  • Define and execute SIT/UAT strategies, test scenarios, traceability, defect management, business sign-off, cutover readiness, and post-go-live validation.
  • Support quarterly Oracle release impact assessment, regression testing, business readiness, and adoption of relevant new functionality.
  • Establish functional governance, design standards, documentation practices, backlog prioritization, and repeatable support processes.
  • Coordinate with system integrators and consulting partners; review solution recommendations, estimates, deliverables, and functional quality, and hold partners accountable to agreed scope and outcomes.
  • Mentor internal resources and facilitate knowledge transfer to strengthen the long-term Oracle functional capability.

Required Experience
  • 10+ years of Oracle ERP / Oracle Fusion functional consulting or enterprise application experience, with significant hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud delivery and production-support experience.
  • Deep functional expertise across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Procurement, and Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Strong end-to-end understanding of Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, project accounting/project costing, capital projects/CIP, fixed assets, supplier processes, and financial controls.
  • Experience supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud in a live production environment, including enhancements, issue resolution, quarterly updates, testing, and business readiness.
  • Experience with Oracle security concepts including RBAC, segregation of duties, least privilege, access governance, and SOX/ITrequirements.
  • Experience with audit/control requirements and the ability to work effectively with Internal Audit, SOX teams, and external auditors.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Modern Best Practices and the ability to distinguish configuration, extension, integration, reporting, and true product gaps.
  • Experience working with integrations and reporting teams; functional understanding of OIC, BIP, OTBI, data extracts/interfaces, and cross-system reconciliation is strongly preferred.
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion with project/construction or adjacent enterprise platforms; Primavera Unifier experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong workshop facilitation, requirements definition, process mapping, fit-gap, testing, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and work effectively with SIs/vendors while maintaining internal ownership of requirements and solution decisions.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, utilities, mining, or another project- and asset-intensive industry strongly preferred.

Preferred / Differentiating Experience
  • Oracle EPM experience in Planning/FP&A, Financial Consolidation, Account Reconciliation, or related finance transformation areas.
  • Supplier Portal and advanced procurement transformation experience.
  • Tax information reporting or integration experience involving 1099, 1042-S, or third-party tax platforms.
  • Experience with capital-intensive project structures, CBS/WBS/POET design, project controls, and project-to-asset processes.
  • Experience supporting rapid-growth organizations where governance, processes, controls, and application operating models are still being established.

Success Profile
  • Hands-on functional leader who can move comfortably between strategy, business process design, configuration-level discussions, testing, and production support.
  • Strong bias toward scalable Oracle standard functionality, disciplined governance, clear documentation, and sustainable operating processes.
  • Able to communicate effectively with executives, business process owners, auditors, technical teams, and external implementation partners.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with multiple parallel transformation, compliance, and operational priorities.
