Job description

Oracle Integration Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Engineer with strong Oracle Order Management (OM) experience to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade integrations between Oracle Fusion applications (with a primary focus on Order Management) and external systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting and optimizing Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes by ensuring reliable, scalable, and business-aligned integrations across the order lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with OIC components, Oracle OM REST/SOAP services, orchestration logic, fulfillment flows, and downstream integrations involving Inventory, Shipping, Billing, and external fulfillment systems.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support OIC integrations (App-Driven, Scheduled, and File-Based) across Oracle Fusion applications and third-party systems
  • Build and maintain integrations using OIC adapters including REST, SOAP, FTP, ERP Cloud, Sales Cloud, CPQ, and DB adapters
  • Develop complex data mappings, transformations, and XSLT logic for large and highly structured payloads
  • Implement robust error handling, fault policies, retries, logging, and reprocessing strategies
  • Secure integrations using OAuth2, Basic Authentication, JWT, and certificate-based security models
  • Deploy, test, and migrate integrations using OIC export/import packages, version control, and release pipelines
  • Monitor integration health, troubleshoot failures, and resolve performance or data consistency issues in production
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for integrations, connections, payloads, and support procedures

Oracle Order Management (OM) – Expanded Responsibilities

  • Design and support integrations across the entire Oracle Order Management lifecycle, including:
    • Order creation, booking, revision, cancellation, and orchestration
    • Fulfillment lines, shipment confirmation, and order closure
  • Develop and maintain integrations using Oracle OM REST and SOAP services, including Sales Orders and Fulfillment Line APIs
  • Ensure integrations properly handle OM orchestration rules, holds, change orders, and re-orchestration scenarios
  • Collaborate closely with OM functional teams to align integrations with:
    • Order orchestration groups
    • Fulfillment processes
    • Business rules and exception handling
  • Support Order-to-Cash (O2C) integrations between OM and:
    • Inventory Management
    • Shipping and WMS / 3PL systems
    • Accounts Receivable and Billing
    • External CRM and CPQ platforms
  • Analyze and resolve OM-related integration issues such as:
    • Partial shipments
    • Line splits or merges
    • Order revisions impacting downstream systems
    • Data mismatches between OM and fulfillment or billing systems
  • Lead root-cause analysis for production incidents involving OM integrations and implement long-term corrective solutions
  • Proactively identify integration design improvements to prevent order fallout, revenue leakage, or fulfillment delays

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with functional analysts, Order Management leads, supply chain teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into integration designs
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure integration approaches align with OM best practices and business objectives
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to junior OIC developers on OM-related integrations and patterns
  • Support UAT, go-live, and post-production stabilization for OM integration releases

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • Strong experience integrating with Oracle Order Management (OM) in Oracle Fusion Cloud
  • Proven expertise with:
    • OIC Adapters (ERP, REST, SOAP, FTP, DB)
    • XSLT, XML/JSON, JavaScript, and Groovy
  • Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes and OM data structures
  • Experience working with Oracle Cloud APIs (REST/SOAP) across OM, Inventory, Shipping, and AR
  • Familiarity with FBDI, BI Publisher, and UCM for file-based integrations
  • Strong knowledge of integration security, authentication, and role-based access control
  • Experience supporting production integrations in high-volume, revenue-critical environments

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Oracle certifications in OIC or Oracle Cloud Integration
  • Experience with Oracle Visual Builder, Process Automation, or BPMN
  • Background with Fusion Middleware or SOA Suite
  • Experience integrating Oracle OM with Salesforce, Workday, NetSuite, or external WMS platforms
  • Prior experience in large-scale ERP transformation or cloud migration programs
