Senior Oracle EPM Analyst will collaborate and interact with the Accounting/Finance departments to ensure efficient delivery of finance-related technology projects. The candidate must have hands-on expertise in implementing and supporting Oracle EPM Suite.

Senior Analyst ensures that Technology solutions are developed, tested, and implemented to satisfy business requirements. Further, this position requires a high degree of practical business knowledge, creativity, customer/end-user focus, and a team-oriented collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Oracle EPM: maintaining/tracking of hierarchy/system updates, regular database maintenance, validation and reconciliation, system security, backups and recovery, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Creating metadata changes in Oracle EPM environments including adding new GL accounts, new departments, new formulas/scripts, etc.
  • Execute set up and provide ongoing training for Oracle EPM Financial Close and Consolidation, Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud System (Hybrid BSO and ASO cubes), and Oracle โ€“ Narrative Reporting and Oracle Smartview add-in for applicationโ€™s user base.
  • Write custom Business Rules and/or Calculation Scripts for custom logic to facilitate client budgeting and forecasting needs.
  • Assist with the integration of Hyperion/EPM applications with existing processes, including budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidation and close, and data warehouse/management reporting.
  • Develops and enhances Oracle Narrative Reports based of Oracle ASO cube.
  • Design and implement custom reports using EPM reporting tools to address company needs and improve frequency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting.
  • Configure application components, including dimensions, currency translation, intercompany eliminations, forms, reports, Smart View templates, and application rules in line with business, functional, and performance requirements.
  • Leads implementation of enterprise security standards into the Cloud EPM suite of applications.
  • Reviews monthly cloud releases for Oracle EPM, prepares, and executes required testing in a non-production environment, and provides recommendations for enhancements using new features.
  • ย Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
  • Supports technical issue resolution in co-ordination with Managed Service providers and Oracle Support as needed.
  • Act as system project manager as necessary to ensure the successful coordination and completion of the project.

Requirements

Bachelorโ€™s degree in information systems, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Math or other related fields or equivalent job experience

Implemented end to endย EPMย Projects with at least 2 successful implementations on PBCS and FCCS.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader leading practice in the following areas:

  • Budgeting and Forecasting, Long Range Planning, Rolling Forecasting
  • KPIs, Management Reporting
  • Month End Consolidation, SEC and Statutory Reporting
  • Financial Master Data Management
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Narrative Reporting
