NAVA Software solutions is looking for a Sr. EPM Business Systems Analyst
Details:
Sr. EPM Business Systems Analyst - Oracle Financials
Location: Sugarland TX Hybrid
Duration: 6-12 months
Position Description
EPM business systems analyst will collaborate and interact with the Accounting/Finance departments to support efficient delivery of finance-related technology projects. The position requires an experienced professional with a hands-on technical background in the Oracle EPM Cloud (SaaS) and/or Oracle Hyperion (on-prem) suite of products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting critical business operations. Must display ability to work independently to provide quality services to multiple customer engagements as well as work side-by-side with Accounting/Finance. Performs varied and sophisticated duties and tasks that need independent judgment to support Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Applies Oracle methodology, company procedures, and leading practices.
Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Math or other related fields or equivalent job experience.
Experience Requirements
Implemented end to end EPM Projects (PBCS, FCC, Enterprise Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and EDMCS projects) and Data Visualization tool.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a technical team leader that supports practice the following areas:
  • Budgeting and Forecasting, Long Range Planning, Rolling Forecasting
  • Management, SEC and Statutory Reporting
  • Month End Close
  • Financial Master Data Management
  • Account Reconciliations
  • Narrative Reporting
  • Capital Portfolio Planning

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a technical team leader for implementation and support of EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) tools:
  • EPBCS - Enterprise Planning, Budgeting Cloud Services
  • FCCS - Financial Consolidation & Close Cloud Service
  • EDMCS - Enterprise Data Management Cloud Services
  • ARCS - Account Reconciliation Cloud Services
  • TRCS - Tax Reporting Cloud Services

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader for the development of:
  • General Oracle EPM configuration
  • Business Rule / Calculation Development
  • Data Integration, EPM automate, EPM Integration Agent
  • Experience of Oracle EBS or similar ERP will be important.

Major Accountabilities
  • Technical support who is focused on resolving issues to minimize business impact
  • Back up to the Administer Oracle EPM for maintaining/tracking of hierarchy/system updates, regular database maintenance, validation and reconciliation, system security, backups, and recovery, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Provide ongoing technical support for Oracle EPM Financial Close and Consolidation, Oracle Planning Budgeting Cloud System (Hybrid BSO and ASO cubes), and Oracle - Narrative Reporting and Oracle SmartView add-in for application's user base.
  • Assist with the integration of Hyperion/EPM applications with existing processes, including budgeting and forecasting, financial consolidation and close, and data warehouse/management reporting.
  • Develops and enhances Oracle Narrative Reports based off Oracle ASO cube.
  • Leads implementation of enterprise security standards into the Cloud EPM suite of applications.
  • Reviews monthly cloud releases for Oracle EPM, prepares, and executes required testing in a non-production environment, and provides recommendations for enhancements using new features.
  • Participates in the identification of problem areas and development of resolutions to address them.
  • Supports technical issue resolution in co-ordination with Managed Service providers and Oracle Support.
  • Function as systems lead to ensure the successful coordination and completion of the project.
  • Support the roll out of Finance initiatives and provide technical support to EPM admin.
  • Support the interfaces for EPM applications with Oracle EBS Suite.
  • Quarterly audit reviews of changes and supporting change management process through CAB.

  • Manage the documentation of existing procedures and operating methods by defining requested business requirements.
  • Analyze documentation files, reports, design, improved system, and methods of implementation around the application modules.
  • Direct continuous improvement of the application development process ensuring consistent delivery on time, within budget and project specifications.
  • Keeps current with new and emerging technology related to area of responsibility; participating in continuing education related training to the position.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
