We are looking for a talented and versatile Oracle Middleware & Database Administrator to join our team and help us bring our vision to life.This role is based in our Newark, Delaware offices conveniently located near 131 Continental Drive, Suite 409. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Oracle Middleware & Database Administrator

  • Administer and support Oracle enterprise applications across DEV, QA, UAT, and Production environments
  • Perform deployments, upgrades, patching, and environment refresh activities
  • Support Oracle WebLogic Server and Fusion Middleware environments
  • Configure and manage:
  • WebLogic Admin & Managed Servers
  • Node Manager
  • JDBC Data Sources
  • JMS Modules
  • ADF and RCU components
  • Monitor application health, batch processing, and loan servicing workflows
  • Perform JVM tuning, heap management, and garbage collection optimization

Oracle Database Administration & Production Support

  • Database Maintenance & Installation:Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database software and servers.
  • Backup & Recovery:Develop and execute comprehensive backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to prevent data loss.
  • Performance Tuning:Monitor system resource usage, identify bottlenecks, and optimize databases and SQL queries for maximum speed and efficiency.
  • Security & Access Control: Manage database user accounts, assign roles and privileges, and enforce organizational data security and compliance policies.


Integration & Application Support

  • Configure and troubleshoot REST/SOAP web services
  • Manage Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) and reverse proxy configurations
  • Support integrations with banking systems, payment gateways, CRM platforms, and third-party vendors
  • Troubleshoot interface failures, middleware issues, and message queues


Database & Production Support

  • Support Oracle Database 19c/23c environments
  • Troubleshoot Oracle database connectivity and JDBC datasource issues
  • Support Oracle RAC and Data Guard environments
  • Monitor batch jobs, EOD/BOD processing, and interface transactions
  • Provide L2/L3 production support in a 24x7 environment
  • Perform root cause analysis and support incident/problem management activities


Security & Compliance

  • Configure SSL certificates, keystores, and truststores
  • Manage authentication, access control, and role-based permissions
  • Support audit and compliance initiatives including SOX controls

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of Oracle middleware/application administration experience
  • Strong experience with:
  • Azure Cloud infrastructure
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Oracle Database 19c/23c
  • Oracle WebLogic Server 12c/14c
  • Linux/Unix Administration (Oracle Enterprise Linux 7.x/8.x)
