Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Implementation Specialist to lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of Oracle EBS Inventory and Purchasing modules in a hybrid environment-one instance on-premises and one in the cloud. The ideal candidate will also support data loading.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Environment Setup
Provide technical support for installing Oracle EBS Inventory and Purchasing modules in both Azure GovCloud and on-prem environments.
Assist with setup of enabling environments and software dependencies.
Ensure successful deployment of working software modules.
Configuration & Integration
Support configuration of roles, privileges, and user interfaces for each module.
Assist in configuring module integration (e.g., purchasing receipts affecting inventory).
Enable Oracle EBS XML Gateway message services.
Coordinate access control setup including multifactor authentication.
Support configuration of backup and restore procedures.
Data Loading
Develop database patches to load initial datasets (e.g., parts, BOM routers).
Create instructions for incremental data patching and reset procedures.
Training & Documentation
Deliver training on data loading, system administration, and transaction workflows.
Provide documentation for XML Gateway configuration and example message services.
Create user guides for sysadmin roles, access control, and reporting.
Ongoing Support
Provide post-installation support for both cloud and on-prem modules.
Address bug fixes, cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and patching needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS (R12.x) installation and administration.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Database (12c/19c), including RAC and ASM.
Experience with hybrid cloud deployments (Azure, OCI, or AWS).
Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and shell scripting.
Experience with data migration and ETL tools (Oracle Data Pump, SQL*Loader, etc.).
Familiarity with Oracle WebLogic Server and Oracle Forms/Reports.
Understanding of enterprise network and security configurations.
Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications.
Experience with Oracle EBS modules such as Financials, SCM, or HRMS.
Familiarity with DevOps tools and automation (Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery setups
