Position: Oracle EBS Developer with VBCS Scripting Experience

Location: Remote

Duration: Long term contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Developer with strong expertise in Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and scripting (JavaScript, Groovy, PL/SQL). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating custom extensions and applications that enhance Oracle E-Business Suite functionalities using Oracle Cloud tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop custom applications using Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) integrated with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS).
  • Develop and maintain web and mobile extensions to Oracle EBS using JavaScript, HTML5, and REST APIs.
  • Create and manage EBS integrations through OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) or direct web service calls.
  • Write and optimize PL/SQL packages, procedures, and triggers to support application logic.
  • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implement UI customization, scripting logic, and workflow automations in VBCS.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance of EBS-VBCS integrations.
  • Ensure adherence to Oracle’s best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10 years of total experience in Oracle EBS technical development.
  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Groovy scripting, PL/SQL, and Oracle APEX/VBCS UI development.
  • Strong understanding of EBS modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, or HRMS.
  • Experience in REST/SOAP APIs, OIC integrations, and web application development.
  • Knowledge of JSON, XML, and data transformation techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Oracle APEX.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion).
  • Understanding of DevOps pipelines, Git, and CI/CD practices for Oracle Cloud development.
