Position Title: Oracle HCM Technical Functional Lead - Incentive Compensation
Location: Vienna, VA (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite)
Clearance Requirements: None
Position Status: Contract
Pay Rate: $70.00-$75.00/hour (W2)
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Technical Functional Lead to support the implementation of the Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation module within a large-scale HR Technology environment. This role will serve as the primary liaison between HR Technology, implementation teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration across Oracle HCM modules while driving successful project execution.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation, Workforce Compensation, Payroll, and broader Oracle HCM Cloud processes. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Oracle HCM professional who thrives in complex enterprise implementations and enjoys leading cross-functional initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation module.
  • Partner with HR Technology, business stakeholders, and implementation teams to ensure Oracle HCM requirements are accurately represented.
  • Support integration across Oracle HCM modules, including Payroll, Workforce Compensation, Benefits, and Core HR.
  • Coordinate and communicate project updates to HR Technology and HR business teams.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and data validation.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and recommend scalable system improvements and best practices.
  • Create and maintain functional documentation, process guides, and end-user training materials.
  • Refine and maintain the Oracle Fusion RACI matrix to support post-production operational ownership.
  • Validate security roles, responsibilities, and ownership across cross-functional teams.
  • Identify process gaps and recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency and governance.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure successful deployment and long-term system stability.
Required Skills/Education
  • Extensive experience implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on expertise with Oracle Fusion Incentive Compensation (required).
  • Strong functional knowledge of:
    • Oracle Workforce Compensation
    • Oracle Payroll
    • Core HR
    • Oracle HCM integrations
  • Experience supporting enterprise HR Technology implementations.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM data structures, integrations, and business processes.
  • Experience leading testing efforts, including SIT, UAT, and production validation.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and drive project execution.
  • Experience developing functional documentation and training materials.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with RACI development, governance, and operational ownership models is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oracle Fusion HCM implementation experience in large enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting multiple Oracle HCM modules across HR Technology.
  • Oracle HCM Cloud certifications are a plus.
  • Experience working in Agile project environments.
  • Familiarity with HRIS governance, change management, and post-go-live support.
