Summary Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Entry Specialist to join our CDW sales team. This position plays a crucial role in supporting our sales team by accurately processing customer orders and maintaining the integrity of our data systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Primary responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret customer orders, shipping documents, and other forms.
  • Input data into designated fields using Oracle software, also Microsoft Excel or ERP systems.
  • Verify accuracy of data before and after entry and check margin report.
  • Maintain consistency across databases.
  • Report discrepancies or errors to supervisors.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks such as reporting back to our customers, buyers, and sales reps for any pricing issues or part number changes.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.

Skills & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry, order processing, or a similar administrative role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
