What You Will Contribute:

This position delivers hands-on technical enhancements and operational support across our Salesforce platform and Oracle CPQ environment. The role works within established platform architecture and standards in alignment with the Salesforce Technical Lead. Work is primarily delivered from vetted, prioritized requests owned by Business Process Owners, including requirements documentation and acceptance criteria. Responsibilities include analysis, development, configuration, testing, deployments, and ongoing administration for Salesforce, Experience Cloud (Partner and User Communities), and Oracle CPQ, including integrations between systems. The role is expected to bring industry best practices and outside experience to strengthen quality, maintainability, and user experience. We are currently supporting a business transformation program that includes significant rework of our Salesforce environment, implementation of a new ERP, and potentially a new CPQ tool.

Job Duties:

  • Partner with the Salesforce technical lead on solution design alignment and design reviews; apply established architecture patterns and development standards, escalating cross-system design changes as needed.
  • Partner with Business Process Owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria and translate approved needs into technical designs and deliverables; engage end users as needed to confirm details.
  • Propose solutions, communicate risks, and make recommendations (including cross-platform tradeoffs) as needed.
  • Build Salesforce solutions using Flow, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC)/Aura, and Visualforce (as needed).
  • Analyze approved, prioritized enhancement requests (with requirements documentation) from Business Process Owners for feasibility, scope, and impacts across Salesforce and Oracle CPQ.
  • Configure and maintain Oracle CPQ assets (e.g., product models, rules, approvals, documents, and integrations) to support quoting and ordering processes.
  • Support and enhance integrations between Salesforce, Oracle CPQ, and downstream systems; collaborate with integration partners and vendors as needed.
  • Plan and execute unit testing, QA support, deployments, and post-release validation for changes in Salesforce and Oracle CPQ.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, solution designs, and support procedures; provide knowledge transfer to administrators and business users.
  • Provide technical support to end users; triage issues, identify root cause, and resolve or coordinate resolution across Salesforce and Oracle CPQ.
  • Provide day-to-day administration and support for Oracle CPQ, including user support, troubleshooting, access/security, and configuration changes as needed.
  • Perform general Salesforce administration (users, roles/permissions, reports/dashboards, security, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance).

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of related experience preferred

Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce (configuration and development) required.
  • Experience with Apex, SOQL/SOSL, Lightning Web Components (LWC)/Aura, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud (Partner and User Communities).
  • Ability to deliver enhancements within an established architecture using documented standards, source control, and change/release practices; able to align with a technical lead on solution design.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of Pardot (Account Engagement).
  • Experience administering and supporting Oracle CPQ (configuration, troubleshooting, and release support)
  • Experience with integration platforms/middleware (Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Boomi) and integrating Salesforce with ERP/CPQ/order systems
