Job Title: Oracle Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Solution Architect
Classification: Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
Reports to: President
Work Location/Travel: Work is remote or on-site at client location. The percentage of travel to client sites, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight, varies.
Job Summary:
As an Oracle CPQ Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a crucial role in creating and delivering comprehensive CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions utilizing Oracle CPQ Cloud technology. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, architect solutions, and oversee the implementation process to ensure successful project delivery.
Essential Functions:
• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze their requirements.
• Design Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions that align with clients' business goals.
• Create architecture blueprints, technical documentation, and solution roadmaps.
• Lead cross-functional teams in the successful implementation of Oracle CPQ Cloud projects.
• Oversee configuration, customization, and integration of the CPQ solution.
• Ensure best practices and industry standards are followed throughout the project.
• Serve as an advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on CPQ Cloud solutions.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage client relationships and expectations.
• Stay updated on Oracle CPQ Cloud capabilities and new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during project implementation.
• Provide mentorship to team members.
• Ensure the delivered Oracle CPQ Cloud solutions meet high-quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Maintain and pursue continuing education opportunities, such as training and certification exams.
• Participate on internal projects.
• Provide expertise and help to others, as needed, on projects.

Work Environment:
The work environment is remote or on-site at a client location. While remote, employees are expected to provide office space for themselves with a professional background (including virtual backgrounds) and noise level. A reliable and consistent internet connection is required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
• Bending, sitting, lifting, and/or driving.
Position Type and expected hours of work:
• Full-time work during Apex IT business hours and, at times, outside of business hours, if required.
Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Information Science-related field or commensurate experience required.
• Proven experience as an Oracle CPQ Cloud Solution Architect or similar role.
• Strong understanding of CPQ processes and workflows.
• Expertise in Oracle CPQ Cloud configuration, customization, and integration.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Oracle CPQ Cloud certifications are a plus.
