Job Summary

University Vision Centre is seeking a Full-Time Optometrist to join our growing practice in El Paso, TX. This opportunity is open to new graduates and experienced optometrists alike. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
  • Diagnose and manage ocular disease and refractive conditions
  • Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction solutions
  • Utilize diagnostic technology and imaging equipment to support clinical decisions
  • Collaborate with optometric technicians, scribes, and optical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Educate patients on eye health, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using a virtual scribe system
  • Provide high-quality, ethical, and patient-focused eye care

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited optometry program
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Texas (current licensure preferred but not required)
  • Open to new graduates and experienced optometrists
  • Strong clinical judgment and commitment to excellent patient care
  • Comfortable learning new technology and clinical systems (training provided)
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a fast-paced clinical setting
