Daily Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye exams
  • Perform visual field testing and refractions
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases
  • Fit and prescribe contact lenses
  • Provide postoperative care for patients

Required Skills:

  • Doctor of Optometry degree
  • Experience in pre-testing and patient recall
  • Proficiency in visual acuity and vision therapy
  • Knowledge of diabetic retinopathy and cataract
  • Ability to perform optical coherence tomography

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience with Optomap and LASIK
  • Knowledge of low vision and ophthalmology
