Job description

Position Overview

Well established and growing multi‑office retail optometry practice. The office has automated lanes, AR/AK, Optos, and OCT. Located just over one hour to Raleigh, it offers a beautiful city with ideal four‑season climate, parks, recreation, and a vibrant cultural scene.

We are looking for a full‑time or part‑time optometrist to perform comprehensive eye exams. The successful candidate will see approximately 20 patients per day, work Monday through Saturday, and will have one day off during the week for each Saturday worked. There is an extra bonus of $2,500 per year for working two Saturdays a month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams.
  • Utilize automated lanes, AR/AK, Optos, and OCT equipment.
  • Manage patient flow of approximately 20 patients per day.
  • Adhere to practice schedules, including Saturday work and weekday off days.
Qualifications
  • Preferred background or interest in pathology.
  • Willingness to sit for the NC boards.
