Location: Optimal Health and Wellness
Employment Type: Part-Time
Compensation: $50-$53 per hour (based on experience)

About Optimal Health and Wellness

Optimal Health and Wellness is a patient-centered clinic focused on helping individuals achieve optimal wellness through a blend of conventional medicine, functional medicine, hormone optimization, regenerative therapies, and preventative healthcare. We believe in treating the root cause of illness while providing compassionate, individualized care.

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who is interested in expanding their knowledge of functional and integrative medicine. Prior functional medicine experience is welcomed but not required-we are willing to train the right candidate.

Position Summary

The Mid-Level Provider will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients utilizing a combination of conventional medicine, functional medicine principles, and hormone replacement therapy. The ideal candidate is passionate about wellness, enjoys building long-term patient relationships, and is eager to learn innovative approaches to healthcare.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing conventional and functional medicine approaches
  • Evaluate and manage hormone replacement therapy (HRT) patients Review laboratory and diagnostic testing results
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, supplementation, and wellness strategies
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure exceptional patient care and experience
  • Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities
  • Support clinic growth through excellent patient engagement and retention
Qualifications

Required:

  • Licensed Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant
  • Active state licensure and DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
  • Passion for preventive and wellness-focused healthcare

Preferred:

  • Experience with hormone replacement therapy
  • Interest in functional or integrative medicine
  • Experience in primary care, family practice, internal medicine, wellness, or regenerative medicine

No prior functional medicine experience is required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
