We are actively seeking experienced Fixed Operations Directors for current and future dealership opportunities. Whether you're overseeing a single high-performing dealership, managing multiple rooftops, or leading fixed operations for a large dealer group, we'd like to connect with you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for dealership fixed operations departments, including service, parts, collision, and customer retention initiatives.
  • Drive profitability, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across all fixed operations functions.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer pay sales, gross profit, technician productivity, retention, and departmental performance.
  • Lead and mentor Service Managers, Parts Managers, Collision Managers, and other department leaders.
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including labor sales, gross profit, effective labor rate, technician efficiency, parts inventory performance, CSI, and retention metrics.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop annual budgets, growth initiatives, and operational objectives.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top fixed operations talent.
  • Ensure compliance with manufacturer programs, dealership policies, and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and maximize profitability across multiple departments.
  • Drive a culture of accountability, leadership development, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Previous Fixed Operations Director, Fixed Ops Manager, Service Director, or equivalent leadership experience required.
  • Proven success leading profitable fixed operations departments.
  • Strong understanding of service, parts, customer retention, and dealership operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve profitability, technician retention, customer satisfaction, and departmental performance.
  • Experience managing department leaders and large teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, financial, and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience with dealership management systems such as CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, Tekion, or similar platforms.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Preferred Experience

Experience with domestic, import, luxury, hybrid, diesel, and EV brands is welcomed.
