 Parts Wholesaler.

Job description: Parts wholesalers work in a fast-paced environment, assisting collision and mechanical repair shops with their daily part needs. A parts wholesaler will be expected to reach certain key performance indicators as a way to propel the business forward, and to also ensure that customers are being taken care of with urgency and excellent care. Parts wholesalers get access to all of our brand catalogs which include General Motors, Chrysler, Ford, Mazda, Subaru, Volkswagen, Nissan, and Mercedes-Benz. As a part of our team, which boasts a strong culture and welcoming environment, new wholesalers will be trained on how to navigate all of our parts' catalogs, and all brand processes. We encourage all prospective applicants who have an array of skills in the automotive industry, knowledge of automotive parts, and a personal desire to grow, to apply today!

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a parts department, parts store, or related automative field
  • Strong sales ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to build, maintain, and grow client relationships with shops
  • Ability to actively seek and earn new business, either by cold/warm-calling shops, or quoting customers online
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to ask questions is highly valued
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment

Desired qualities:

  • Proficiency in invoicing - CDK knowledge desired, but not required.
  • Proficiency in Parts Trader, OEConnection, CCC1, and OPS Trax
  • Experience with manufacturer databases and processes
