Job Title:
Chemical Operator V, Lead (1st Shift)
Job Description:
The Role:
Our site in Burnetis seeking a Lead Operator in our Fill Hallway.
This position requires strong leadership and technical skills to ensure safe and efficient operations on the process floor. The Lead Operator will work hands-on performing process tasks as well as assisting with the training and oversight of the manufacturing team while consistently modeling Entegris PACE Values. The Lead will report to the CVD Production Supervisor and effectively fill-in in the Supervisor's absence.
Shift schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm.
What You'll Do:
  • Collaborate daily with Supervisor on goals, initiatives, production and personnel updates.

  • Support Operators by ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

  • Ensure production schedules meet quality and delivery goals.

  • Lead daily TDM and other Lean Initiatives.

  • Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot, identify and resolve non-routine problems with process equipment.

  • Work with Engineering as needed to run experiments, troubleshoot systems, create/update PMs and maintain spare parts.

  • Other projects & duties as assigned.

What We Seek:
  • Chemical, gas or semiconductor experience is strongly preferred.
  • Safety Mindset: Proper use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols.
  • PLC Operation: Knowledge of operating PLCs, valves, and pressure regulators.
  • Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory management; SAP experience is a plus.
  • ISO 9001: Working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong technical problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible, able to rapidly respond to new situations and to perform multiple tasks

  • Expert leadership & communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of SAP or similar systems.

  • Data driven decision making mindset.

  • Strong desire to lead and seek opportunities for continual improvement.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in chemistry, process operations, or other field a plus.
  • Manufacturing Experience: 2 +years of manufacturing experience; distillation experience is a plus.

  • Previous chemical handling experience.

  • Previous manufacturing experience.

  • Microsoft Office applications.

  • Ability to frequently lift 50lbs and push up to 130lbs.
