Job description

Aegis is seeking a machine operator to join our client's organization in Lake Zurich, IL. The ideal candidate has the following skills and experience:


Day to day Responsibilities:

  • Operation support – monitor machines, load and unload parts, perform mold changes, alert any malfunctions
  • Quality control – visual & dimensional inspections, alert quality issues
  • Material handling – moved finished productions, grind scrap for reuse, maintain accurate inventory & production logs
  • Housekeeping & safety – help keep area clean, report issues, routine PMs
  • Communication & teamwork

Ideal Candidate:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of machine operating experience – open to any industry but exposure to plastics would be a plus
  • Go getter mentality – someone who is trainable, can take initiative and be proactive
  • Ability to lift & move up to 50 lbs regularly
