Position Summary:

In the Security Operations Support Specialist position, you'll serve as the central point of coordination for dispatch, monitoring, documentation, and compliance support within the Safety and Security function. You'll ensure consistent incident handling, reliable communications, and disciplined execution of life safety and regulatory activities. By absorbing structured operational and administrative responsibilities, you'll enable field-based Security Officers and leaders to remain focused on response and patrol, while directly supporting the maturity and readiness of the security program.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Serve as a primary security dispatch and operations desk resource during assigned hours.

  • Receive, triage, and document security-related calls, alarms, alerts, and tickets.

  • Dispatch Security Officers and coordinate responses using established procedures.

  • Monitor systems such as video management, access control, and alarms.

  • Maintain incident logs and support after-action reporting and documentation.

  • Coordinate OSHA, ANSI, and life safety compliance activities, including inspections, drills, and tracking.

  • Assist with audit preparation and emergency preparedness initiatives.

  • Provide administrative support to the Manager, Safety and Security, including reporting, SOP updates, and training coordination.

  • Support daily operations within platforms like Zendesk, Milestone VMS, OnSolve, and access control systems.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in security dispatch, operations, emergency coordination, or a similar support function.

  • Demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure or time-sensitive situations.

  • Experience with dispatching platforms, access control systems, or incident tracking software.

  • Strong communication and administrative skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and sound judgment in sensitive situations.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Experience supporting OSHA or life safety compliance programs is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Milestone, Zendesk, or access control systems is a plus.

  • Emergency management or safety-related certifications a bonus.
